At a time when much of the world is entangled in distractions, rumors, and negativity—wasting the energy and potential of humanity—Integral University, located in the heart of India’s capital, Lucknow, is relentlessly working day and night to lead the nation towards innovation, discovery, and new heights of excellence. In this very spirit, the Department of Physics organized a grand National Seminar on the topic "Physics of Novel Magnetic and Superconducting Materials", marking a historic moment in the field of science and research.
The seminar served as a platform for students, researchers, and educators to delve into the complexities of magnetism and superconductivity, unlocking doors to innovation and deeper understanding.
The program commenced with a ceremonial floral welcome and the university anthem, creating an atmosphere that beautifully blended scientific pursuit with cultural richness. Head of the Department of Physics, Prof. Shamoon Ahmad Siddiqui, delivered the inaugural address, emphasizing how such events plant the seeds of research in young minds and elevate scientific thinking.
Keynote speakers included Prof. Zakir Hussain (IIT Kanpur) and Prof. Shahid Hussain (AMU), who shed light on the intricacies of magnetic materials and the depths of superconducting technologies. Prof. Zakir elaborated on the scientific relevance of d- and f-electron systems, explaining their central role in modern material science. Meanwhile, Prof. Shahid presented his research on environmentally friendly lead-free nanocomposites, discussing the interrelation of magnetic and electrical properties in multifunctional materials.
Prof. Abdul Rahman Khan, Dean of the Faculty of Science, stressed the importance of collaboration and dialogue in scientific growth, stating, “True knowledge emerges when shared beyond boundaries.”
Chancellor Prof. Syed Waseem Akhtar and Pro-Chancellor Dr. Syed Nadeem Akhtar described the seminar as a bridge between research and nation-building, affirming that Integral University has always been at the forefront of guiding society through science and education.
At the conclusion of the seminar, Dr. Salman Ahmad Warsi delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants, guests, and organizers. The scientific sessions that followed provided students and researchers with the invaluable opportunity to share ideas and engage directly with experts.
The event was further graced by the esteemed presence of Prof. Wahajul Haque, Prof. Syed Aqeel Ahmad, along with Deans and Heads of various departments, enhancing the seminar’s prestige and significance.
In essence, while much of the world continues to waste time and energy on meaningless pursuits, Integral University has shown that with determination, a nation can rise to great heights through education and science. This seminar was not just a celebration of research but a beacon of inspiration—for the India that discovers, innovates, and moves forward.
